Spark sensors detect optically and thermically smouldering parts and sparks. These are evaluated via the central system and the necessary counteractions such as alarming/separation or extinguishment are initialized.
Introduction
Spark detection / extinguishment should not be mixed up with fire alarm systems. The spark detection is mainly used in closed pipe systems, buckets etc.

The principle
Funkensensoren erkennen optisch und thermisch im Produktestrom mittransportierte Glimmnester. Diese werden über das Zentralsystem bewertet und die notwendigen Gegenmassnahmen wie Alarmierung/ Ausscheidung oder Löschung veranlasst.
