Speed- and Alignmentsensors
Conveyors are the most dangerous machines in mills, in the compound feed industry and in silos. A monitoring regarding personnel and industrial protection is vital condition for the operation of such machines.
For this purpose Agromatic offers the best possible, practice-orientated safety systems starting with the normal speed control unit up to the complete monitoring of the machine with combination units for speed- /alignment and bearing temperature monitoring.
The System
Depending on the kind of machine different functions are available:
- single speed control
- single alignment control
- combined speed/ - alignment control
- combined differential speed control and alignment control at top and bottom
- additional bearing temperature- and motor temperature control
- additional burst- and overflow claps
All units correspond to the latest safety regulations.
Safety regulations
The safety regulations vary in different countries, however are siminar and mainly based on the ATEX-regulations and country specific human protection regulations.
Agromatic safety units and sensors have been designed and constructed in this regard. According to example database from BGR104 evelators, conveyor belts and general conveyors should be monitored on slippage, alignment and temperature increase in bearings.
These methods, described in EN 1127-1 (principles and methodology Ex-protection), EN 13463-5 (constructive safety), EN954-1 cat. 2 to 4 resp. SIL2-3 acc. to EN61508, EN 13463-6 (control of ignition sources) have been considered in the Agromatic unit serie ALS906 and ALT605.
