Spark detection and water fog fire fighting systems

Where organic material is processed a latent large danger of fire exists, caused  by sparks or by jammed material (smouldering nests). Agromatic offers the best possible protection, starting from the intake of the grain, through the processing as far as the loading.

Principle:
Spark detectors monitor the product flow and send a warning signal to the control unit as soon as a spark or a smoldering ember is detected. The control unit evaluates and initializes an extinguishment with water fog. Every detection is recorded. For details please refer to the pdf file.

Water pressure increasers

In order to realize a reliable extinguishemnt a sufficient constant water pressure must be availavle with a minimum pressure of 5 - 6 bar. Often this is a problem in mills and silos. Different water pressure increasing systems and water tanks are available.

Agromatic only uses water for extinguishment (drinking water or long-term conditioned water).
For the food, wood and textile industrie we do not us other extinguishing agents. For special applications like in the chemical industry we can use product specific agents.

These devices are manufactured in accordance with the plant specifications such as: 
size of bucket/conveying pipe diameter/aspiration diameter/ 
air speeds/cooling area etc.
They characterize by:
    ⁃    mist echalation
    ⁃    extremely short intervals
    ⁃    extremely large spread
    ⁃    water throughput measurement *)
    ⁃    permanent monitoring of control unit on  operational readiness/water pressure/valve control etc.

Depending on usage the devices can be equipped with 1 - 3 nozzles.

If due to economical reasons an extinguishment with water is not  favoured there is the option of discharging critical material into a bunker or, where acceptable, to atmosphere.
Therefor extremely quick switching pipe and discharging diverters with different diameters and pressure resistance are available.
